Groups of 4-10 members can start touring the Tech Shop at 6pm (before 6pm is even better)– just gather at the front counter and wait for an available staff member to guide your group.  TechShop will be a little crowded, with several classes meeting from 6pm-8pm.

TechShop is a community based workshop and prototyping studio on a mission to democratize access to the tools of innovation, TechShop is packed with cutting-edge tools, equipment, and computers loaded with design software featuring the Autodesk Design Suite. REQUIREMENTS:

1) Everyone will need to fill out a waiver form (for insurance/liability purposes)

2) Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes. Vibrams and Crocs do not supply sufficient protection, so we do not consider them close toed shoes (for saving your toes!).
Both the waiver and close-toed shoes are extremely important as we are a fully equipped workshop (hot shop, wood shop, machine shop).  Members will be working on equipment, so safety is very important.  If anyone refuses to sign the waiver, or shows up in open toed shoes, we cannot allow them on the tour.
